More info
When someone cuts down or stops alcohol or some drugs, their body can react badly. Don't try to manage it at home on your own.
The hotline is open 24/7 and puts you through to your state or territory's service. SA calls are answered 8.30am–10pm.
If opioids are involved, naloxone can reverse an overdose for a short time. It's free, with no prescription, at participating pharmacies and other approved sites.
